How Do Anti-Cellulite Creams Work?
There seems to be no doubt that cellulite creams do work, because almost everyone who has used them says they’ve had success. In a clinical trial with Avon anti-cellulite cream, as many as 91% of the women who tried it said they saw definite improvements.
But what makes anti-cellulite creams work?
Obviously they can’t work on their own. Cellulite is the result of bad living habits which means an unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, not enough fresh air, consuming toxins (from unwashed fruit, etc), smoking, alcohol…and the list goes on.
So all these things need to be addressed if you’re really serious about removing cellulite.
But as well as sorting out your body internally, you can also use creams to help reduce your cellulite from the outside too.
All you have to do with an anti-cellulite cream is massage it into the problem area a few times a day. After several weeks of regular use the appearance of cellulite will be significantly reduced.
So how does it work?
The cellulite is located just below the first layer of skin which makes it easy to treat from the outside. Good anti-cellulite creams have a variety of ingredients that work in a variety of different ways. Some to the ingredients work to increase blood circulation, some will work to repair the tissue damage caused by cellulite build-up while still others help to lessen the amount of fat storage cells.
But you need to be careful when buying anti-cellulite creams as some of the cheaper ones do nothing more than moisturise your skin.
But that is not necessarily a bad thing because the other way that anti-cellulite creams work is because of the massaging that the problem areas receive when you apply the cream. Massaging cellulite helps to move the hard build-up of fats and toxins and so breaks it down for natural elimination by your body.
But if you’re going to spend time every day massaging your cellulite away, you may as well make sure you use a good quality anti-cellulite cream to speed the process along.
And there are 5 basic ingredients to all good cellulite creams that you need to be aware of:
Caffeine – this is bad for your cellulite if you drink it, but when applied to the skin it stimulates the blood circulation which helps break down the fat cells in your cellulite.
Algae – this is a detoxing ingredient the breaks down and removes the toxins in your fat cells that create the “cottage cheese” look to your skin.
Vitamin A – this repairs the damaged tissues and strengthens them which makes it difficult for the cellulite to return.
Green Tea – this helps to burn fat which prevents it from being stored.
L-Carnitine – this is an amino acid that speeds up your metabolic rate which helps you burn more calories which, in turn, decreases the areas of fat storage in your cellulite.
All these 5 ingredients can be found in every good anti-cellulite cream, and when massaged into your cellulite every day, will soon help to remove it for good.
